Hello everyone! We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at 2 p.m. over Zoom for our Spring 2022 Post Mortem Session. We’ve provided some reminders, Zoom meeting details, important documents, and other information that may be useful to you as we get closer. Reminders:
- Officer Reports: Any BOD or Steering Committee member unable to attend should email Secretary of State Thompson in advance of the meeting.
- Delegation Reports: Either the Delegation Chair or Vice Chair is required to attend Post Mortem to give a Delegation Report. If not possible, please send a written report by email to Secretary of State Thompson prior to the start of the meeting. Their email is SecretaryofState@okoil.org.
- Dress code: Dress code is business casual, but this will be slightly relaxed due to the meeting being over video conference. Please use your best judgment.
- Recording: The meeting will be recorded, so please be aware of this upon joining.
- Attendees: These meetings are open to the public, so please encourage delegates to attend if they are interested.

Statutory Obligations
Per OIL Statutes, the purpose of Post Mortem shall be to:
- Discuss business relevant to the administration of the Organization.
- Serve as a forum for members to address the leaders of the Organization. However, the Committee may establish guidelines and restrictions for such comments.
- Develop plans of action for the Organization as a whole. However, it shall not have the power to compel any action from any officer or branch, unless specifically authorized through statutory enactment.
- Advise the Governor.
- Fulfill other statutory obligations.
