About Lt. Governor Gregory
Lt. Governor Gregory joined OIL in the spring of 2022 with the Oklahoma Baptist University delegation, and competed in the House of Representatives. The following semester she transferred to SWOSU, and in the fall of 2023 she re-started the OIL delegation on campus. Lt. Governor Gregory was the delegation chair for two semesters before being elected as Lieutenant Governor.
What does the Lieutenant Governor do?
The Lieutenant Governor’s chief responsibilities consist of executing the Office of the Governor whenever the Governor is unable to, and to organize each session’s “Annual Entertainment Pass” and the “Community Service Competition”.
The Lieutenant Governor, according to the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature Constitution, is also the ceremonial President of the Senate, and serves as the Vice Chair of the Steering Committee and the Board of Directors.
