As the 1st Session of the 56th Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature (O.I.L.) concludes, the participants depart having experienced a transformative week of policy debate, legislative innovation and leadership development.

The session brought together bright minds from universities across Oklahoma to engage in a rigorous simulation of the legislative process, underscoring the value of civic engagement and public service.

The energy in the chambers throughout the session was a testament to the dedication of these emerging leaders. Delegates debated with conviction, collaborated across ideologies and demonstrated a commitment to addressing the pressing issues facing Oklahoma.
