The purpose of the Executive Branch is to streamline OIL administrative decisions and to coordinate statewide organizational functions, like planning each regular and special session, Recruitment, Fundraising, etc.
The Executive Branch consists of both elected and appointed Executive Officers and the appointed Cabinet Officers.
These officers are responsible for specific administrative areas that the Executive Branch is tasked with.
The Executive Officers include the elected offices of the Governor and the Lieutenant Governor, and the appointed offices of the Attorney General and the Secretary of State.
The Cabinet Officers consist of the Chief of Staff, Press Secretary, the Directors of Recruitment, Retention, Budget and Finance, Fundraising, and Technology, along with any other offices established by the Governor, like the Deputy Chief of Staff.
