Karter Caves
Karter Caves is an 9-Star delegate from Oklahoma State University. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in Political Science. Karter has served as a delegate in the senate chambers for the entirety of his OIL career. He has served in numerous administrative positions such as head secretary, head linguistics, judiciary vice-chair, and many more. He also has experience working with the executive cabinet through his roles on appropriations and secretary of state team. As President Pro Tempore he hopes to improve the efficiency of the Senate chambers while still maintaining detail-oriented mindset that’s already built into the chambers. He believes that whether 0-Star or 10-Star every delegate has their own opinions that should be heard and treated with respect.

Harry Harcrow
Harry Harcrow is a Four Star Delegate, being a member of the Senate Chambers in each session. Also participating in the Moot Court Competition, he has served a wide variety of duties and roles across OIL. He has been a part of Judiciary and Appropriations Committees, as well as serving as Assistant Parliamentarian for two sessions. His standout moment was winning the Best Freshman Delegate award in the Senate in Spring of 2025. Since that achievement he has had his mind on leadership in his respective chamber and is grateful to be serving the body this year as Deputy President Pro Tempore.
Who is the Senate?
The Senate is the smaller, more intimate, more formal house of the legislative branch.
The President Pro Tempore and the Deputy President Tempore are the elected leaders that preside over the Senate, but the Lieutenant Governor is the ceremonial President of the Senate. The Rules Committee Chair, Floor Leader, and Secretary are the highest ranking appointed officers in the Senate.
